It was very easy to do. I do suggest in the instructions to cut the four individual strands of yarn before starting. I had to unwind my ball of yarn to get this. Other than that I loved it!

What materials will I need?

Most of my plushie patterns use soft, super bulky (#6) yarn and crochet hooks ranging from 6.0 mm to 8.0 mm. Favorites include Bernat Blanket, Sweet Snuggles Lite, Premier Parfait Chunky, and other chenille yarns. Each pattern includes a complete materials list with the specific yarn, hook sizes, and supplies you'll need.
